General Information

Parking

On-site parking is available. Please refer to the below map for details.

Welfare

Tea and coffee are provided. Lunch is not included; however, there are nearby facilities offering hot and cold food.

Dress Code

General workwear is acceptable. As the course may include practical elements—particularly for inexperienced delegates—personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Delegates must bring their own clean and serviceable PPE, which includes:

  • Hard hat
  • Face shield
  • Ear protection
  • Waterproof gloves
  • Waterproof overalls
  • High-visibility waistcoat
  • Safety footwear

Delegate Requirements

Waterjet Training aims to ensure all courses are accessible to learners with a range of physical or mental abilities. If a delegate has specific requirements, please contact us in advance so we can make reasonable adjustments.

Security

We accept no responsibility for personal loss or theft on the premises. Delegates should always keep valuables with them.

Smoking

The premises are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Registration and Course Timings

Courses begin at 9:30am. Delegates should arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration.

Lunch is taken around 12:00pm (subject to instructor discretion).

Courses typically finish between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

For multi-day courses, start and finish times may vary depending on course content and instructor requirements.

Cancellations and Changes

We reserve the right to amend course schedules, alter course content, discontinue courses, limit class sizes, or cancel courses. In such cases, we will provide at least 10 days’ notice.

Trainees wishing to cancel or amend a course booking must do so with at least 10 days’ notice. If the notice period is not observed, Waterjet Training reserves the right to charge the full amount for the training course and/or not offer a refund.

Training Terms and Conditions

Punctuality

Delegates must arrive on time for all training sessions. If trainees arrive more than 10 minutes late, training providers reserve the right to not allow them to join the training session and rebooking will be required at the trainee’s cost.

Conduct and Substance Policy

Employers/clients are responsible for ensuring appropriate delegate behaviour.

Waterjet Training operates a strict Drugs and Alcohol Policy. Any delegate suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be removed from the course.

Damage and Equipment

Any damage caused through wilful misuse or misconduct will be invoiced to the client.

No equipment may be removed from the training premises.

Photography and Recording

Photographs or video recordings taken during training may be used by Waterjet Training for training, quality assurance, or promotional purposes.

Certification

Digital certificates are issued at the discretion of the qualified trainer/assessor upon successful completion of the course.

Courses assessed by external bodies will be certificated according to that body’s criteria.

Reservations and Booking Requirements

All bookings must be confirmed by returning the booking form along with an official order number no later than two weeks before the course start date.

For bookings made within two weeks of the course, a purchase order number and acceptance form are required immediately.

Course Cancellation by Waterjet Training

If a course must be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, Waterjet Training will not be liable for any costs incurred by the client.

Fitness for Practical Training

Delegates participating in practical elements must be physically fit and not under medical supervision or medication that could impair their ability to safely complete the course.

Payment and Certificate Release

Waterjet Training requires full payment before course completion. Places are only reserved once payment and booking form have been received.

Issuing of Certificates and ID Cards

All digital certificates and digital ID cards will be issued to the person or organisation that booked the course.
